Самуил Стоянов е визуален артист и културен активист, който живее и работи в гр. Добрич, България. През 2001 г. той завършва НХА в гр. София. Оттогава той работи в полето на почти всички съществуващи медии, чрез многопластово третиране на различни теми от животa. През 2009 г. Самуил Стоянов печели наградата БАЗА, а през 2011 г. наградата „Гауденц Б. Руф” – две от най-големите награди за съвременно изкуство в България. Наградата БАЗА му осигурява резидентен престой в International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), Ню Йорк през 2010 г. и самостоятелна изложба в ИСИ – София същата година. През есента на 2012 г. Самуил Стоянов участва в 53-ия Октомврийски салон в Белград, а през септември 2013 г. негова работа ще бъде и в 5-тото Московско биенале.

Samuil Stoyanov is a visual artist and cultural activist, who lives in the city of Dobrich, Bulgaria. In 2001 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. Since then he’s worked in the field of almost every media existing through multilayer treatment of different topics of life. In 2009 Samuil Stoyanov received the BAZA Award and in 2011 – the Gaudenz Ruf Award – two of the most important prizes of contemporary art in Bulgaria. Tha BAZA Award ensured him residence in the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), New York and a solo exhibition in the Institute of Contemporary art – Sofia. In the autumn of 2012 Samuil Stoyanov took part in the 53th Belgrade October Salon.In September 2013 he will be showing his work at the 5th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.
